'The Authentic Colt Black Powder Series' 2nd generation reproduction of the Colt 1861 Navy percussion revolver with a .36 caliber bore. It features a 7 1/2" round blued barrel, blade front sight, notched rear sight on hammer nose, checkered hammer spur, smooth curved trigger, and smooth single piece grip. It sports an unfluted six shot cylinder with a roll stamped battle scene, and a silver plated trigger guard. Serial numbers match on the frame, barrel, triggerguard, and backstrap. The frame, loading lever, and hammer are color-case hardened, and are in excellent condition. The blued barrel, and cylinder retain approximately 99% of their finish with only a small blemish on the left side of the barrel towards the muzzle. The silver plated trigger guard and backstrap are in excellent condition. The action is smooth and crisp. The bore, rifling, and cylinder are also excellent. This firearm includes the original factory box and paperwork.
